Registration for Workshop and Discussion: How Continuous Education Can Enable Circular Construction

Transitioning towards a circular economy requires changes across many sectors – including design and architectural practices. But how can architects adapt and lead change in the construction sector? How to stay up to date when opportunities to return to formal studies are limited? Continuous education and life-long learning are becoming essential ways to update knowledge, rethink skills, and respond to emerging challenges.

In this session we will present and discuss the experiences and results of the international Circular Design Alliance continuing education programme, and invite participants to reflect on the needs currently emerging in both professional practice and academia. Through a discussion–workshop format, we will explore what kinds of formats and methods are needed for circular design to become part of everyday professional practice.

We invite all representatives of the architecture and construction sector – as well as those working in or wishing to learn more about circular design – to take part.
